I

Thank God for the
People tree

The Saint Paul said to me
Take a woman
Down from the people tree

But I asked my mother
Do they grow angels
On the people tree

She said maybe there
In Greece

My sister says
If I defy God again
I'll die in the gutter

Take a woman down
From the people tree
And leave those angels
Be

II

It's almost Tuesday
And tomorrow a week
Since we've come

It's all together in the
Allocated heat of a hotel

But it's every man for himself
With the book of Daniel

I suggest this will be my
Furnace
As they may put me in it

I have tried and tried
Tried and failed to try
That last desperate pass

But I have a Greek
Girlfriend

With long blonde hair
And Black skin

Oh what a girl

You can see why

I deepen
To depart.
